Having an address book is necessary to keep in touch with your friends and family. An address book will help you arrange your contacts in a manner that makes it easier to find their contact information. Typically address books are easily available near your phone or in your pocket. Address books are also excellent for keeping control over business contacts as well as larger customers and service providers. Keeping an address book in the close proximity of your work phone or in your car will help you find the contacts you want much easier. In an address book you are able to store the most common contact information about a person. This is the typical name, address and phone number. You can also store information like their email address, their cell phone number or the website they use for their business. An address book will also give you the abilities to store additional information about your contacts. This is a possibility you should take advantage of in building your relationship with your contacts. Many will argue that you do not need an address book when you got the white pages or other phone books. The problem with these is that there are too many people in them. You also need to have a phone book for every city you have friends living in. An address book will only have the contacts you use on a regular basis. To day we also got address books on our different technological devices. Our cell phone has a contact list we can use when we need to make a call. Businesses also got CRM systems and different other databases of contacts used in their daily work. The problem with these is that you have the risk of loosing data. A cell phone typically lives between one and three years before it is completely ruined. Having a physical address book will make it much harder to loose your contact data. Address books with flower designs are very popular these days. You see them almost in every home you visit. I think that it is their beauty together with the practical use of them that make them still popular in our technological world.
